David Ardon Wilson (Joe), aged 73, passed away on June 23rd, 2018
He clearly loved his neighbor as himself. He taught the Gospel truth with all his might and was a true example of Christ here with us. We know our big brother, Christ, has called out to him: “…Well done, thou good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of they Lord” (KJV Matt 25:21).
And Joe David would say to us: “…watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love is appearing” (KJV 2 Tim. 4:5-8).
Joe David was born Johnson City, TN to O.D. & Mae Wilson on September 21, 1945. He went to school at East Tennessee State University and earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
