It is sad that men of good intentions are led away from the paths of truth by those who have other intentions. I know of no one who loved us more than Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God. For Him to take the shame and rebuke given Him by the Jehovah’s Witnesses is beyond reason. Why they want to take such a beautiful Being and denigrate Him, speak ill of His person, or destroy any joy they might have in serving Him is without question, deplorable!! They act and talk like zombies as they walk up and down the roadsides of this great land. They are not allowed to think, only react to abuse; they never entertain a serious Bible Study for they have a memorized spiel they trumpet and when gotten off that diatribe, they are helpless. It saddens all who love our Lord to have to even write a defense hoping to deter these men and women from the Brooklyn Lying Clinic (the Brooklyn Watch Tower Tract and Bible Society) who are on their way to a place they claim does not even exist-HELL!!
“That men may know that Thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the Most High over all the earth”. Psalms 83:18 Of course they claim that only one is Jehovah, that is the Father, yet even in their own perverted writings they slip up and correct themselves. The appellation Jehovah, as discussed last week, may be applies to more than one person, yet such passages as this state the ONE. The desired affect on your mind is chaos, confusion, and “oh, they have finally caught us now”. The word ONE used here means unity, not numerically one. The claim of any Being who can call themselves Jehovah and prove it just means He is one of those who can “Alone create”.
“Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever Thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God.” Psalms 90:2 In Micah 5:2 the inspired prophet writes: “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall He come forth unto Me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been of old, from everlasting.” Who can deny this is speaking of the Christ child? Who among us do not know the word “everlasting” is the Hebrew word olam which means from time indefinite, eternal? Who is being describes as everlasting, or time indefinite, or eternal, or without beginning or end?? Even the Jews knew this!! “And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. And they said unto him, ‘In Bethlehem of Judea: for thus it is written by the prophet, “And thou, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, art not the least among the princes of Judah: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.” Matthew 2:4-6
I have never had a discussion with the Russellites that they have not come up with the next verse: “Jehovah Himself produces Me as the beginning of His way, the earliest of His achievements of long ago. From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times earlier than the earth…” (NWT) Of course they claim this is Jesus when in fact it is talking about wisdom!! One has to remind them that this JESUS was He who created “all things that are created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or powers: all things were created BY Him and FOR Him. And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.” Colossians 1:16-17
“Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not; neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding?” Isaiah 40:28 This is suppose to tell you that Christ is not God, He was created. We have answered this about a dozen times!! Please read again, Micah 5:2.
