How evil, the arch-angel of all Earth, how pernicious are his ways, yet he was created, he had a beginning. There was a timeless expanse before Christ began His assigned role as creator of ALL THINGS. In this timeless period there were NO non-created beings, They were all self-existent.. This pre-time existence was before Satan existed. Note: there has never been a period when God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit did not exist!! Satan began to be when the world was created. On the Earth and was not evil, at the first nor was there evil! Things were“good, very good.”
Since he was created good and very good, what changed Satan? Why did he try to destroy God’s plan? That he knew there was a plan and that it was not revealed to him has often been questioned, but in fact he did not know the plan put into motion in the Counsel of Eternity, Isaiah 9:6, Habakkuk 3:3 of which Christ was the appointed messenger and counselor. Neither did Satan did not know the covenant God had given Adam when He placed him in the Garden of Eden. Satan had to get the terms of the covenant from Eve through interrogation!!
Did Michael and Gabriel the two Cherubic arch angels exist before Satan was created? If they did they would have been immediately superior to Satan. 2 Corinthians 11:11 Did he ever go to the realm of God? Many will tell you Satan was “kicked out” of Heaven and quote Luke 10:18. If Satan had been, which he was not, in heaven, the prayer Christ taught His disciples to pray before the Kingdom came would be violated; “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.” Luke 11:2 Did he ever ascend to the heights of greatness above those who were his peers or was this something made up in his mind? If so, could this have given him an idea that he was in fact superior and above the Law of God?? Sure sounds like his children take after their parent as they deny the right of God to command them!!
Where and from whom did the idea come to violate, alter God’s will, or was he after God? Did Satan know man was in the “image of God”? What DID Satan know about man? Did the other arch-angels who were created as he have trouble obeying God, working together to bring about the desires of God? Daniel 10:13 Was it because they were never away from the presence of God as was he? Were arch-angels created “in the image of God” as were Adam and Eve? Was not man, as created, superior to arch-angels who were created to be the servants of man? Hebrews 1:13
Sin has NEVER been in Heaven!! Only by the blood of Christ by His mediatorial function as High Priest can we as sinful children enter the presence of God, the Father. Sin is the violation of the law of God.1 John 3:4; 1 John 5:17 Sin is only “registered, written down” in Heaven. How could sin ever get to Heaven? Its father, his angels, nor any of his children have ever been there? John 8:44 The angels of the earth are called seraphims. Isaiah 6:2 Heavenly angels are called Cherubims. It was the Cherubims who were sent to guard the “way to the tree of life,” Genesis 3:14, and are usually ranked below the Seraphim. Seraphim comes from the Hebrew word Saraph, Latin word serpere which means burning, a poisonous serpent, a species of venomous snake (Numbers 21:6;, 8; Deuteronomy 8:15), copper in color glowing like flaming fire which is sometimes described as a dragon. Isaiah 14:29; 30:6. See John 3:14 for the snake in the wilderness.
What will Satan sacrifice to get his way? Answer-everything. What a dastardly thing for one to turn on his own, yet the first thing we learn of Satan is that he deceived those who followed him as their “chief” angel, first!! One can only wonder at what lies he told them unless we hear the Holy Spirit through Simon Peter!! With his superior position on this planet, read and just imagine, then know he gropes around as a roaring lion all the saints of God who give him reason to devour them who live as sinners against the law of God!! 1 Peter 5:8 “For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment” who “forsook the right way and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam loving the wages of unrighteusness “ “speaking great swelling words of vanity, alluring through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness,” “those that were clean escaped from them who live in error,” “promise them liberty, themselves the servants of corruption.” 2 Peter 2:4, 11, 12,-19
