The King of Kings, who is the Word of God, makes war with the sword which proceeds out of His mouth. He smites the nations and rules them with a rod of iron. How does He smite the nations? He beheads them, He kills a third part of man, the spiritual part, His field of operation is the spiritual heart of man. He crucifies the “old man,” Romans 6:6. He puts it to death to be resurrected with Him, Colossians 3:1-5, to walk in newness of life, Romans 6:3-4. He destroys the body of sin that we may present our members holy and undefiled unto God as true servants, pure and white. They, who are the “dead in the Lord,” Revelations 14:13, are made members of the family f God being “added” to the Church of Christ when we were baptized into Christ for the remission of sin, Acts 2:38. Christ never makes war against flesh and blood, Ephesians 6:12, He leads His army in a fight for something of far greater worth—the eternal part!! What is true of they who have become servants of this great King is that they are subjects of a spiritual kingdom, not a physical; therefore, they eat and drink spiritual food prepared for spiritual beings, the Lord’s Supper. God has provided!! He knows how to give us sustenance. This “supper” is the first taste of an eternal existence!!
In chapter 19 of Revelation, the riding of horses is only a symbol, the sword proceeding out of His mouth is also a symbol; it signifies the word of God spoken and written by inspiration of God. The vesture dipped in blood signifies the sacrifice made for the redemption of the Church from sin. The soldiers following Christ on white horses are not literal soldiers but gospel preachers and teachers of the Word of God. They go forth not in heaven but in the kingdom of heaven under the bloodstained banner of Prince Immanuel!! They go forth conquering and to conquer. There is nothing and no one who can defeat them in their stated cause!! Remember: this is the dispensation called “the fullness of times” when He could “gather together in One, all things (nations, men) in Christ, both in heaven and on earth (the sinless joined to those who, by His blood, have become sinless); even “in Him.” Ephesians 1:10. “There is therefore no condemnation to them which are “in Christ Jesus,” who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made us free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in the flesh, God sent His own Son in that same flesh to destroy him who had control of all those who had died to the fellowship of Deity; condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in the Church of Christ/us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Romans 8:1-4
When we come to the “table of the Lord” we come to share, fellowship, participate with ALL the family, ALL of the “it.” Backgrounds melt into nothingness, color of skin-the same and the wondrous thing is, so do natures!! For the first time, man could fellowship with another nature, the nature call God. Man and God could again be ONE. What a step UP. Never in the annals of time had man the invitation nor the opportunity to share a meal with they of another nature. Never would God have stooped down to man because of sin. Rotten, moldy, smelly sin is not something we would allow at our table, how could one expect that from God? Also, our nature was in duality-we were both physical and spiritual. God is a spirit. The pre-millennial liars, who teach Christ is coming back to “set-up” His throne, miss the purpose of Christ return. They make all things physical. This is opposite to the truth taught in the Scriptures!! He is coming to make us totally spiritual as They are totally spiritual!! This takes place only “in Christ”!! Would you like to find out how to get “into Christ”?
